Abstract

Abstract – These days Internet of Things (IoT) and Remote Sensing (RS) systems are utilized in various zone of research for monitoring, collecting and analysis of data from remote areas. Because of the tremendous increment in the world-wide modern yield, rural to urban float and the over-use of land and sea resources, the quality of water available to people has deteriorated greatly. In order to ensure the safe flow of the industrial sewage water, the quality should be observed continuously in real time. Here, we present a structure and development of a low cost system for real time monitoring of the water quality in IoT (internet of things). The framework comprises of few sensors which is utilized to gauge physical and chemical parameters of the water such as temperature, pH and turbidity (TU). The measured values from the sensors can be processed by the central controller. The IoT device i.e. arduino can be used as a central controller. The prepared information is put away in the cloud. Further calculations are done at the server side by recovering the qualities from the cloud and reports are produced likewise using Wi-Fi system.
