Reduce Carbon Emissions using Cyber Security/Digitization

Swapnil Mondkar, Vallabh Salvi

Abstract

At the height of digitization, every online action has an impact on the environment. The concern over continuously rising global carbon emissions as a result of technological advancements is growing. The environment is harmed by the vast majority of human actions. This effect has mainly been associated with available carbon emissions. However, discoveries have increased people's awareness of digital CO2 emissions. The available CO2 emission rate as a result of general digitization principles is represented by these damaging emissions. Technological advances have contributed significantly to CO2 emissions. In this research report, the overall consequences of carbon emissions are covered. It also shows the CO2 emissions generated by the technology industry worldwide. According to the study, digital services have increased carbon emissions, which affect many different places. The analysis of the global digital carbon footprint, corrective measures, and the relationship between carbon emissions and digitalization are the main topics of the study.
