COVID-19 Chatbot: A Coronavirus Assist

Abstract


Chatbots are becoming an appealing tool for those seeking medical assistance because of their ongoing availability. It was found that chatbots are mostly used by people who cannot approach healthcare professionals physically as it gives relevant and accurate information. As a result, we suggest creating a chatbot with the name “Covidbot” to reduce the chances of falsehood or wrong information that could spread during the epidemic. Covidbot gives consumers access to a variety of COVID-19 related information, including guidance, responses to frequently asked questions, and symptom checking. To make the chatbot unique we have added a feature called “TRACCINE DEX” in which we can also check the COVID-19 vaccination details of the students from our department. We have trained the bot in a way that, if the user enters the name of any specific student, the bot responds with his/her vaccination details (and personal details). Furthermore, we study how the installation of our bot solves some of the issues and limitations of healthcare and COVID-19 chatbots. Finally, our project deals with giving an accurate and precise information about covid-19 and vaccination details of students and maintaining a proper record.
