Sanjay Srivastava, Rahul Yadav, Bhagatpreet Singh Nagi, Bhupendra Singh, Basu Sahu

Abstract

A social media clone is a web-based application which is similar to the modern-day social media applications but provides the basic functionalities. It is not intended to exactly copy the features from its parent application. MERN stack works with the ideology of a full stack development using four main components as the building blocks. MongoDb, a NoSQL based open-source database which follows the json like data format to save, or in general, store the data corresponding to the given user. ExpressJS, a node.js based JavaScript framework which is exclusively meant for the purpose of moderate and complex mobile and web applications development. Various features enable the application its versatile environment. ReactJS (developed by Facebook) has a different model handling capability. Instead of referring to the browser’s model, it builds its own virtual model where any data manipulation of the application takes place. It is used for the development of the UI based components of the web application or the website. NodeJS is the open-source framework which is actually the server environment for the web application. The main task of the NodeJS is to receive the request from client and return the requested content to it. This application can be used specifically in the photography industry and in the analytics of identifying the type of photos preferred by the audience of a particular location, age, gender etc.
