Abstract

Recent outbreak in the COVID-19 pandemic has shown us over and over that there might be need of lot better and a no contact technology. Many smartphone brands as well as some drone manufacturers have implemented gesture controls in their system. After the recent social distancing laws and virus outbreak, it is crystal clear that there are lot more issues to come in near future and so there is a need of better technology. As there are many technical advancements going on continuously, gesture-controlled systems are one of many advancements taking place bringing no contact systems to the table. Smartphone brands like MOTO and LG have implemented various such methods like air gestures in order to make the experience much more easier. It is not just about COVID that there are multiple new viruses being discovered and the medical staff and the police department has to be put in danger every single time. In such troubled times, these gesture-controlled systems can come in as a boon to the medical and police departments. We have tried to implement one of such systems with almost no hardware requirements except a regular computer system and a Webcam to operate an entire computer system.
