Effects of New Education Methods Introduced during Pandemic

Abstract


A pandemic is a widespread epidemic of an infectious disease that affects a large population and has spread in many continents or the entire planet. A contagious condition caused by the coronavirus 2 known as Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). Over 210 countries and territories have been infected by the virus after it spread widely in the Chinese region of Wuhan. Technology-based Electronic Service (E-service) offers a variety of electronic channels, such as online coaching and training, an e-library, etc. The virus has severely impacted socioeconomic condition of the world. The objective of the analysis was to explore the challenges faced during education programs by students due to the pandemic shutdown of COVID-19. This study enlightens how online learning brings out an impact on students’ achievement. Few students participated in this study with google form responses. The descriptive qualitative was used as a method of the study. Depending on the outcomes of the questionnaire, 35.2% said excellent, 35.3% said good, 23.5% said average, and 5.9% said below average.
