Mapping Patents on the use of Communications in Connection with the Human Body

Abstract

Abstract: The conductive nature of human body plays a vital role in transferring data / signals via means of the human body. This has enabled human body networks for better communication using minimal energy. The advent of mechatronics as a technological domain has also boosted the research of making Human Body for communication. As patent is a techno-legal document, it represents technological information that can be analysed and studied to gain various insights of technological advancements. This paper highlights the study of Human Body as means of communication based on patent data.
