Detection of Stego from Motion Vector Patterns Using Steganalysis

Abstract


The ultimate goal of this paper is to detect a stego (encrypted message) in the compressed video using various steganalysis techniques. Although there are many steganalysis methods, in this paper we concern more about the detection accuracy so that no stego will be escaped. To capture all the deviations in the video we use the filters of higher orders. The temporal dependency of the motion vector planes is also considered along with the spatial dependency which is very rare in most of the previous papers. The proposed method is tested against the most prominent MV steganalysis and steganography methods. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields around 20% detection accuracy increase in low payloads and 5% in higher payloads.
