A Cloud-Based Smart Remote Controlling and Monitoring of Electrical Appliance Using Android Phone

Abstract


Now-a-days efficient energy management has become very crucial. In Today’s era the Smartphone based on android platform plays great role in the technical field, which also provides various applications. Today, most mobile phones are a 'smart phone', which offers more advanced capabilities in connectivity issues than regular cell phones. Smart phone usually support one or more short range wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and infrared, making it possible to transfer data via these wireless connections. The use of Bluetooth technology in a smart phone today is not just for the transfer of data and files only. In recent years, smart home automation is one of the applications of Bluetooth technology. we offer electrical appliances Automation system based on Bluetooth technology, especially in Home automation system. There are many problem like Wastage of electricity after completion of work in computer lab or in home. For avoiding this type of problem we make this application which Automatically turn off of electrical appliances(tube, bulb)in computer lab or after completion of work by using GSM and Bluetooth module. In this paper we are proposing low cost Microcontroller (89s51) based design for efficient energy saving by controlling the power flow for light and fan loads
