Development of Football Result Prediction System

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to design and implement an expert system for football results prediction. Three objectives guided the study. The method adopted in this study was the rapid application development (RAD) model, which was used to design and implement the logics and procedures of the system. The system was implemented with the PHP. The implementation platform is especially suited for server-side web development. The predicting system was structured on the following features; the login page, the head to head page, the predicting page and the result page. These components were developed and tested with field parameters. The developed system is a football result prediction system and as such will be used by football gamblers and football fans in their accurate prediction of football matches. This system can be used by users with basic skills in computer operations. It is recommended that the system should be used in line with the steps outlined in the documentation with related data, specified hardware and software.
