Smart Waste Management Using WSN and IoT

Nayan Chotalia

Abstract

Abstract - Speedy increase in population, has LED to the improper waste management in cities leading to enhanced pests and spreading of diseases. Nowadays, the Garbage Collecting Vehicle (GCV) collects the waste twice or thrice in a week. So, the problem is over flowing of wastages on the roads. Hence, to beat this limitation, during this paper a theme on sensible waste management mistreatment Wireless detector Networks (WSN) and IoT (Internet of Things) is projected. The garbage bins are deployed with sensors and are networked along mistreatment WSN. The sensors deployed within the garbage bins collect the information for each determined interval. Once the brink is reached, it raises asking to the ground-controlled approach (Garbage Collector Agent). This agent collects the requests of all the stuffed vehicles and communicate mistreatment IoT framework. The experimental simulation is done in proteus tool. A hardware model is developed for the projected framework. Analysis of the projected theme provides higher leads to waste management.

Keywords- Wireless detector Networks, sensible Waste Management, Garbage Collection.
